Annual Parish Meeting

The Annual Parish Meeting is not a council meeting. It is a meeting of the parish electorate. It is usual for the meeting to be chaired by the chairman of the Parish Council and for the Parish Clerk to attend and record the minutes.

Electors, public and press are invited to hear reports about the preceding year from the Fleggburgh Parish Council, Borough & County Councilors, community groups and other organisations within the parish.

The council usually invite representatives of the following groups, to provide reports to inform its audience on community matters:

  • Fleggburgh, Billockby and Clippesby churches

  • The Poors Trust (Billockby & Burgh Lands Trust)

  • Fleggburgh Primary School

  • Friends of Fleggburgh Primary School

  • Little Explorers Nursery

  • Village Hall Committee

  • Norfolk Constabulary Beat Manager

  • Speed Watch Co-coordinator.
